Georgia Tech CRC & Bill Behrens Veterans Invite Food Drive: 

• We are asking families to bring 2-3 can and/or non perishable food items to the meet on November 6-7! Thank you very much for your generous donations and support! There will be collection bins near the SwimAtlanta Swim Shop.

Meet Updates:

• Spectators are allowed in the building.  
• Masks are encouraged.
• Only Volunteers, Officials, Swimmers, and Coaches will be allowed on the pool deck.
• Swimmers can either sit upstairs or on the pool deck.
• Swimmers swimming the 400IM, 1000Free, and 500Free will need to positive check in.
• Swimmers in the 400IM, 1000Free, and 500 Free will need to provide their own timer.

Parking:

• PreParking at W10 Parking Deck will be available on the ParkMobile App and https://app.parkmobile.io/venue/georgia-tech-aquatics-campus-recreation-center/events or you can pay at the W10 Parking Deck gate for $15. Additional hourly parking is at W02 Student Center Deck.​​​

SwimAtlanta is excited to have your swimmer(s) participating in the  SwimAtlanta Swim or Treat Swim Meet.  Please arrive 15 min. before your scheduled warm up to find a place for your swimmer to sit on deck and be ready to enter the pool.  Parents may sit on deck or outside.  There will be limited space for sitting on the pool deck.  We strongly recommend bringing chairs for you and your swimmer(s).  SwimAtlanta Swim Shop will be having a sidewalk sale and a coffee truck will be at the pool.

Below you will find a link to heat sheet with a timeline for the meet.  Reminder the timeline is just estimate.  Prior to the meet, please review the heat sheet and find your swimmer’s event/heat/lane and make sure they have that information so they will know when to report to their lane.  They should be behind their lane several heats ahead of time. Many swimmers will write this on their arm or leg in a grid to refer to during the meet, for example*:

*In this example, the swimmer is in event 2, heat 2 and lane 6.  Remaining events would be listed underneath in the same way.  A flipboard will be visible at the meet which will reflect what event and heat is currently in the water.

Please remember to pack towels, extra goggles, caps, water, and a light snack for your swimmer to have during the meet.

Heat Sheet & Timeline

Auburn Aquatics have made several changes please read info below (Reminder times below are Central Time Zone): 

Friday Night will be OPEN warm up with us only using one pool for competition.  Approximately a two and a half hour timeline.   

Saturday start times have been moved back to warm ups starting at 10:30 am.  Meet will start at Noon and we have about a 3 and a half hour timeline.  Sessions for both Saturday and Sunday will be split by gender.  Boys will be in course closest to the stairs and girls will swim in center course both days.

Sunday starts warm up  at 9 am. 

Swimmers and families will have to wear masks inside the facility all weekend.  The only time masks are permitted to not be worn is while your swimmers are swimming. Folding chairs are not allowed in the spectator area.  Stadium seats are highly recommended. 

Parents are not allowed on the deck for any reason.  Only workers and registered members of USA swimming are allowed on deck.  

SwimAtlanta Swim Shop will be at the meet for your swim shop needs.

With the number of swimmers in the SwimAtlanta October Invite we have decided to run all events in the morning.  Please notice the new warm-up and start times for the 12&under events.  13&over events will be swum in the East Pool (diving well side).  12&under events will be swum in the West Pool (under the scoreboard). Spectators are allowed in the building and are encouraged to wear a mask.  Reminder parents are not allowed on the pool deck.

Heat Sheet & Timeline

SwimAtlanta is excited to be hosting the KickOff Swim Meet this Sunday.  We had to make a few changes to the order of events to help with the timelines.  11&older Boys are now Event 1 100 Free, Event 3 100 Breast, Event 15 100 Back, Event 16 100 Fly.  Event 1 & 3 will be swum in the Diving Well End with Event 15 & 16 in the Scoreboard end of the pool. 11&Older girls are now Event 2 100 Free, Event 4 100 Breast, Event 5 100 BackStroke, Event 6 100 Butterfly.  All 11&Older girls events will be swum in the Diving Well end of the pool.  All 12&under events will be swum in the Scoreboard end of the pool.

With these changes we are in need of 12 timers for events 15 & 16 (hour of timing). Go to https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F084DA8A82EABFA7-timing to sign up and help.

Specators are allowed in the building and are encouarged to wear a mask.
