Swimmer Check-In & Pool Deck
Only swimmers, coaches, officials, and meet volunteers are permitted on the pool deck.
When swimmers arrive on deck, they should find and check in with a coach from their SwimAtlanta location.
Swimmers may stay on the pool deck with their teammates or sit upstairs with their families between events.
Two Pools — Racing at the Same Time
Diving Well Pool
11 & Older • 100s of Each Stroke • Events 1–8
Scoreboard Pool
12 & Under • 50s of Each Stroke • Events 9–16
Both pools begin racing at 8:45 AM.
No Bullpen — How Racing Works
If you're coming from summer league, this is one of the biggest differences:
There is no bullpen at a SwimAtlanta meet.
Swimmers keep track of the meet and report behind the blocks for their correct event, heat, and lane.
It may sound intimidating the first time, but magically, it works! Kids catch on quickly, and coaches and volunteers will be around to help.
If swimmers are sitting upstairs with their families, please help them keep track of the meet and return to the pool deck with plenty of time before their race.
Meet Mobile
Families can use Meet Mobile to follow events and results from the stands.
Results shown in Meet Mobile are unofficial and may not appear immediately. Use the final heat sheets above for your swimmer's event, heat, and lane assignments.
What Swimmers Should Bring
Swimsuit • Swim Cap • Goggles • Extra Goggles • Towel • Water Bottle • Snacks
First SwimAtlanta Meet?
Don't stress about knowing everything!
The goal for our newer swimmers is to learn how a SwimAtlanta meet works, race, have fun, and leave excited about doing it again.
Coaches and volunteers will be around to help swimmers throughout the meet.
If you have questions, please contact your swimmer's coach.
As always, if your swimmer's coach gives instructions that are a little different from what is listed here, follow your swimmer's coach's directions. Each location or group may handle certain parts of the meet a little differently.
We look forward to a great morning of racing at Georgia Tech!
