With summer quickly approaching, we must look ahead to the 2013-2014 season.

For all swimmers who swam during the 2012-2013 season, the coaches will be emailing re-registration details the week of May 20th.  Please be looking for that in your inbox as space is limited, and in order to hold evaluations for perspective swimmers, we must know who will be returning by mid-June.

Every swimmer has a USAS ID Number. This is a unique swimmer identification that can be figured out using the following formula:

• Birth Date o Put a “0” in front of any single digits
• First Three Letters of the Swimmer’s Legal First Name\
• Middle Initial of the Swimmer’s Middle Name (If the swimmer does not have a Middle Name, put an (*) in that spot.)
• First Four Letters of the Swimmer’s Legal Last Name

any time during the season! February is a great time to start preparing for summer
 swimming!

The week of May 16th, SwimAtlanta coaches will be emailing families abour re-registering for the 2011-2012 season to begin in August 2011.

The head coach of each location will send an email that includes your swimmer’s placement for the 2011-2012 season, practice schedule for the 2011-2012 season, and details about registering online for the new season.  In order to register, families will register online and submit the 2011-2012 registration fee by the mid-June deadline listed within the email you receive.

With the conclusion of the Long Course season, we have updated the Top 10 Records.  As we strive for excellence and accuracy, if you see any accidental omissions, please contact swat1977@aol.com.  Congrats to all the swimmers who earned a spot on the Top 10 Records.

SwimAtlanta-Sugarloaf is currently registering swimmers for our new season that begins Monday, August 16th. 

In order to be placed on one of our practice groups, it is required that swimmers be evaluated by one of our coaches.  The evaluation is free and there is no obligation; each swimmer who can demonstrate all four strokes and is at least six years old is placed on a practice group based upon age and skill level.

Tryout dates are set! Appontments are not necessary, you can stop by during any of the listed times!

Former SwimAtlanta swimmer and Olympian, Eric Shanteau, is hosting an Open Water Clinic and Speech the weekend of September 18th-19th at Lake Lanier Islands Resort.
