20 SwimAtlanta swimmers make Olympic Trials Cuts!!!!

Congratualtions to all 20 SwimAtlanta swimmers who qualified for the 2012 Olympics Trials!  We are so proud of all of you!  Olympic Trials is held in Ohama, Nebraska June 25-July 2.  This meet will be televised live on NBC!  Cheer on your team mates! 

Swim for the Cure - Volunteers Needed

Volunteers Needed: SwimAtlanta will be hosting a "Swim for the Cure" event at SwimAtlanta - Sugarloaf this Fall!  The event will take place on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.  Sherryl Payne is the event coordinator and is looking for volunteers who have experience in these types of events or a strong interest in helping organize and market this event.  Please contact Sherryl at, if you are interested.

How Do I Figure Out My Child's USAS ID Number

Every swimmer has a USAS ID Number. This is a unique swimmer identification that can be figured out using the following formula:

  • Birth Date o Put a “0” in front of any single digits
  • First Three Letters of the Swimmer’s Legal First Name\
  • Middle Initial of the Swimmer’s Middle Name (If the swimmer does not have a Middle Name, put an (*) in that spot.)
  • First Four Letters of the Swimmer’s Legal Last Name
