SwimAtlanta's own Amanda Weir is speaking at GA All Star banquet

Olympian and American record holder in the 100 Free, Amanda Weir, will be the guest speaker for this years All Star banquet!  Amanda swims at our SwimAtlanta in Lawrenceville.  Swimmers must acheive a AAA time or better during the 2008 long course or 2008/2009 short course season.  This years banquet will be held on Sunday, September 27 at the Hilton Atlanta Northeast.  You must buy your ticket by Tuesday, September 22.  For more information or ticket sales please visit

USA Swimming Ranks SwimAtlanta #1 Swim Club in GA, #2 in Nation

SwimAtlanta has once again been ranked #1 swim club in Georgia, and #2 in the nation by USA Swimming.

The Club Excellence Program is a voluntary program that identifies and recognizes clubs for their excellence in athlete performance. The program annually recognizes up to 200 outstanding clubs. USA Swimming's highest honor, the Gold Medal Club, is only given to very select programs.


USA Swimming banned the revolutionary, high-tech swimsuits for athletes 12 years old and younger.  USA Swimming house of delegates voted to ban suits that extend past the neck, shoulders or knees.

SwimAtlanta Wins 2009 Southern Zone Eastern Section Senior Club Championships!

Here are the final standings:

  1. SwimAtlanta - 1,319.50 points
  2. Mecklenburg Aquatic Club - 1,144.50 points
  3. Lakeside Swim Team - 552.50 points
  4. Dynamo Swim Club - 418 points

8 SwimAtlanta swimmers make USA Swimming's 2007-08 Scholastic All-America Team

SwimAtlanta is proud to announce the swimmers who have been selected by USA Swimming for the 2007-2008 Scholastic All-American Team. These swimmers maintain a 3.5 GPA and have obtained a Junior National time in an individual event. We want to congratulate them on this outstanding accomplishment.

SwimAtlanta wins 2008 Senior National Club Championship

Congratulations to the SwimAtlanta swimmers for winning the 2008 Senior National Club Championship held at Georgia Tech. Overall, it was an outstanding effort by the team, and they should be proud of their accomplishments.
